Teacher of the Year

anyone who knows Josh knows that he has a passion for 12 year olds. really, who can say that they feel called to change the lives of seventh graders? not me!

Josh has been teaching and coaching at Berry Middle School for 10 years and this year he was the representative for his school to the Jacksonville State Hall of Fame. He did not move forward in the state wide competition, but was still chosen out of all the staff at Berry to represent his school.

He often goes in early, stays late, counsels late at night, chats all hours of the night with his students. if they are hurting, struggling, joyful, scared, they feel comfortable and come to him. I am so thankful he is mine :)

Here are a few pictures from the awards banquet that was held a few weeks ago at Hoover Country Club.

Caden... where did the time go?

he's six.
he's tall,
funny,
silly,
sweet,
strong,
smart,

loves kindergarten,
Griffin,
church,
baseball,
his cousins,
and now loves summertime.

I can't believe (well, I can really) that i was late in posting this. he is such a kind boy and i am leaning on God to get us through anything that we come to in the future.

Here's what we've been up to lately...

graduating kindergarten
